Carrie Underwood: Yes! to marriage equality

Carrie Underwood encountered minor backlash when she spoke in favor of marriage equality last year. In her most recent cover interview for Allure magazine – Carrie goes on to say, “I’m in favor of acceptance, I am a Christian person, and I do love the Lord, and I feel no matter who you are, what you believe, how you live your life, it’s not my place to judge. I don’t have that power.”

Carrie is currently on hiatus from her Blown Away headlining tour, which resumes on Feb. 13 in Colorado Springs, Colo. The tour is in support of her latest platinum-selling album of the same name, which feature’s her current Top 10 single, ‘Two Black Cadillacs.’

She still faces resistance from those who still question how devout she is to the Christian lifestyle.
