Major League Soccer will not renew partnership with Boy Scouts of America

MLS has supported anti-discriminatory causes like ‘You Can Play‘ – an organization dedicated to ending homophobia in sports.

After the BSA’s decision to continue discrimination, MLS announced it no longer wishes to have an association with the group.

The partnership began in January and was meant to provide opportunities for Scouts to interact with MLS stars, attend games on reduced-price tickets and be recognized during games for notable achievements such as earning the Eagle Scout designation.
