San Diego State to join group of Universities that offer major degrees in Gay, Lesbian, & Transgender Studies

San Diego State University will soon become the first campus in California to offer an undergraduate degree in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Studies.

Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York, were the first colleges to offer majors in LGBT Studies.

According to SDSU, a degree in LGBT Studies will be useful in the fields of medicine, law, and business.

Hopefully, LGBT-specific jobs, like green jobs, could offer professional opportunities that never existed before.
