Jennifer Aniston is promoting her new film The Switch – about a single woman who chooses to conceive via IVF. Recently she said, “Women are realizing more and more that you don’t have to settle, they don’t have to fiddle with a man to have that child. Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth. …I’m just glad science has provided a few other options.”
Aniston was born in Sherman Oaks, California, and her family relocated to New York City where her parents, John Aniston and Nancy Dow, divorced when she was 9. She began her professional training as a drama student at New York’s School of Performing Arts, also known as the “Fame” school.
