Proud Lesbians: Ally Sheedy’s daughter and mother

With her daughter’s permission, Ally Sheedy announced that her daughter Rebecca [pictured with Mom] is a lesbian. She made the statement while on the red carpet of The Trevor Project‘s 10th annual East Coast fundraising gala. The Trevor Project is the nation’s largest GLBT youth suicide prevention organization.

While on the red carpet, Sheedy said: “My daughter has just come out, so… it’s personal.”

Sheedy’s mother is also a lesbian. New York literary agent Charlotte Sheedy, divorced Ally’s father in ’71 and came out to her as a lesbian in the early 80’s.
