Lesbian mom opens pediatric practice in Philadelphia

Examiner.com reports that lesbian mom Alexis Lieberman, M.D., pediatrician since 1996, announced the opening of a private practice near the Art Museum, dubbed Fairmount Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.

Dr. Lieberman is a former volunteer and 12-year-camp doctor for Mountain Meadow Summer Camp. She’s been taking care of infants, children and teens at Albert Einstein Medical Center for the past nine years.

The office will be open in October at 2000 Hamilton St, in the retail area near the Wawa, around the corner from Whole Foods. They’ll accept most insurance plans, and can refer to any of the area’s pediatric hospitals and specialists.
