Over 2,000 gay and gay-friendly vacationers cruised into Halifax Wednesday – on board the Norwegian Dawn. The cruise is organized by R Family Vacations, the travel company co-founded by Kelli O’Donnell, Rosie’s wife.
Some vacationers used the port to visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, while others waited with crowds to possibly meet Rosie O’Donnell.
Although Rosie stayed on the ship this day, many other celebrities were spotted – including Heather Matarazzo [Princess Diaries], Ross Mathews [The Intern on The Tonight Show] and Broadway actress Christine Ebersole [Grey Gardens]. Kynt and Vyxsin [the Goth team who competed on last season’s Amazing Race] were also noticed.

“Rumors filtered through the small eager group fed by passengers as they departed the ship.
“Rosie was up playing poker until 4 a.m. She likes to sleep late,” one person said.
“Around 2 p.m., one traveller was reported to have said that Rosie had just been spotted in the on-board casino, but she wasn’t gambling.
Shortly after 4 p.m., two women, whom the Rosie fans knew to be Ms. O’Donnell’s best friends told the group that their friend was not going to leave the ship.”
