The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and LOGO (a cable television channel dedicated to gay and lesbian viewers) are hosting the first LGBT Presidential Forum.
The forum airs at 9PM ET on LOGO with the live webcast at The Visible Vote ’08.
The event is not billed as a debate, but a conversation with the Democratic candidates on LGBT issues. Each candidate will appear solo, on the stage for 15 minutes taking questions from HRCs Joe Solmonese, Melissa Etheridge, along with journalists Margaret Carlson and Jonathan Capehart. Over 4,000 questions were submitted at VisibleVote08.com that will also be shared with the candidates.
Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Richardson, Kucinich, and Mike Gravel will attend. Dodd and Biden will not be present because of scheduling conflicts.
Melissa answered a few questions from the crew at Visible Vote ’08.
